Rental Requirements to Rent a Vehicle
To ensure a smooth and secure rental process, Click Drive has established a set of requirements that must be met by all customers. These requirements are in place to protect both the customer and the company, ensuring a safe and reliable rental experience.
Valid Driver’s License
Requirement: Customers must present a valid driver’s license at the time of rental.
Reason: A valid driver’s license verifies that the customer is legally permitted to drive. This requirement ensures that all drivers are qualified and competent, reducing the risk of accidents and liability for Click Drive.

Requirement: Customers must be at least 17 years old to rent a
vehicle. Some premium or luxury vehicles may require a minimum
age of 25.
Reason: Age restrictions are in place to ensure that drivers have
sufficient driving experience and maturity. Younger drivers may have
higher accident rates, and age limits help mitigate this risk.

Requirement: A refundable security deposit of $200 is required at
the time of rental.
Reason: The security deposit covers any potential damage to the
vehicle, additional cleaning fees, or other incidental costs. It provides
financial protection for Click Drive against unforeseen expenses.

Requirement: Customers must provide a second form of
identification, such as a passport or national ID card.
Reason: Additional identification helps verify the customer’s identity,
reducing the risk of fraud and ensuring that the vehicle is rented to
the correct individual.

Requirement: Customers must use a valid debit, visa card for
payment and the security deposit.
Reason: Using a bank card ensures that there is a traceable and
secure method of payment. It also provides a guarantee for the
security deposit and any additional charges that may arise.

Requirement: Customers may be required to have a clean driving
record, free from major violations or recent accidents.
Reason: A clean driving record indicates responsible driving
behavior, reducing the risk of accidents and potential liability for
Click Drive. It also helps ensure the safety of all road users.

Requirement: Customers must read, understand, and sign the rental
agreement before taking possession of the vehicle.
Reason: The rental agreement outlines the terms and conditions of
the rental, including the customer’s responsibilities and Click Drive’s
